Steve's wife Maggie writes: "Now, at age 50, [Steve] is still kicking ass as fire captain and a Line EMT. Being a public servant is never easy. The struggle is real, trying to balance work and family. [Steve] is an awesome dad to a boy and a girl.  With all the negativity that surrounds first responders, it is nice to have a cup of coffee that supports their struggle. May god keep him safe and his coffee keep him awake, so he can continue to be that hero."
